BEST FILM: Deaf love by Michele Bertini Malgarini, Italy (Jury comment: because the approach of love & heart always finds a way)
BEST DOCUMENTARY: Coexist, by Komeil Soheili, Iran (Jury comment: film that has two best roles, one man and one landscape)
BEST DIRECTING: Malou by Adi Wojaczek, Germany (Jury comment: because it shows that self-belief & perseverance creates the result)
BEST SCRIPT: Broccoly by Eliott Fettweis, France (Jury comment: the most original approach to the topic)

All the films were strong and emotional, some entertaining, some poignant, and without exception fulfilled their goal: they changed perspective! They have made us think of what we have not been before, empathize with, and learn about human opportunities. AWARDED FILMS 2018. – Novi Sad
Festival granted awards in the form of a plaque for best films in several different categories. The professional jury of 2018 were: Dejan Petrović, film director (Serbia), Tatjana Stojšić Petković, psychologist, expert in the field of disability (Srb), Dušica Lipovac-prof. Serbian language and literature, director of the Banja Luka Festival, Aleksandra Božović, producer, director of the Kotor Festival.
BEST FILM: For the first time in the history of the Festival, two films for the best are proclaimed:

In addition with rewards for best scenario and directing, expert panel will award special prizes for the contributions on the field of disability having in mind:
- Does/how much does the film provide the spectator alternative/different view on disability
- How original is their approach on the topic of disability
- How interesting is the movie/attracts attention/is impressionable
- How well disability stereotypes were avoided
- How much does the film provide information regarding disability
